West Hollywood bike lanes are going green.
They’re doing layout first, then the painting. The work started on January 12th and should be done by February 20 unless weather gets in the way.
City Council voted for this back in April with a 5-0 to vote to paint all Class II bike lanes in the city green. The obvious goal is to make the lanes more visible. Drivers see green easier which is supposed to help them determine it’s a bike lane.
