The Stelvio Pass is legendary, but what if the famous road isn’t the best way to the top? We went to the Italian Alps to uncover a secret: a historic gravel route, older than the road itself, that is more spectacular, more beautiful, and completely free of cars. Teaming up with local expert Daniele (aka the “Stelvio Man”) and riding the brand new Pinarello Dogma GR, we embark on an unforgettable adventure. This journey takes us along ancient salt and wine roads, past haunting World War I trenches, and through some of the most breathtaking scenery on Earth. This isn’t just a bike ride; it’s a journey through history and one of the most emotional and epic days we’ve ever had on a bike. A huge thank you to Daniele and Hotel Funivia in Bormio for their incredible hospitality and guidance!
