Get ready to hop on your bike and enjoy one last ride this May! Pasadena Bike Month wraps up on Saturday, May 31, 2025, with the popular Pie & Ice Cream Are Friends Ride, a fun, family-friendly event celebrating cycling and dessert.
Organized by the City of Pasadena Department of Transportation in partnership with Day One and the Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition, this celebration promotes biking as a safe, healthy, and sustainable way to get around town. The finale invites riders of all skill levels to pedal along a scenic 9-mile route, stopping at local purveyors to sample some of America’s favorite treats, delicious pies and ice cream!
Safety is a priority, especially for younger riders—helmets are required by law for anyone under 18 and strongly encouraged for all participants. Riders should ensure their bikes are in good working order, bring lights for any evening riding, and pack essentials such as water, snacks, sunscreen, and a spare tube.
