The fourth edition of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift kicks off Saturday, July 26, and this year a large North American contingent is among the 154 riders taking to the start line in Vannes, France.

Five riders from the United States will be joined by five riders from Canada for a grand total of 10 North American riders this year. Here’s a closer look at some of the top North Americans and what they hope to accomplish in the nine-stage race.

Faulkner: Completing the grand tour stage-win triple crown

Can Olympic champion Kristen Faulkner uncork the same flair in the Tour de France Femmes that she showed last summer in the Paris Games?

The EF Education Oatly rider made clear earlier this year that she wanted to complete a historic treble in the sport.

“I’ve won a stage at the Giro and the Vuelta. So I think my first goal is to win a stage at the Tour de France,” she told Velo.

“I think it would be huge. We haven’t had an American winner of a stage yet, and I would love to be the first.
