They call it America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride… a choose-your-own-adventure around Lake Tahoe.
“A 100-mile ride that takes you up to Truckee… A 72-mile option that goes right around the lake, and then we have a 35-mile option,” said ride director Karin Nagy.
On Sunday, over 2,500 bikers took part in the annual fundraiser. crossing the finish line in Stateline.
The ride was organized by Blood Cancer United. Nagy said that Sunday afternoon, her group was well on its way toward the event’s $3,000,050 funding goal.
“Our organization is the world’s largest organization dedicated to blood cancers, and we’re here to find cures for blood cancers and provide support to patients and their families,” Nagy said.
