CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Over a hundred kids in Eastern Iowa are set to get a special Christmas present this year; Their very own bicycle.
Sunday, more than a dozen volunteers gathered at Chain Reaction Bike Hub for their annual Bike Drive.
“This opportunity, it’s really nice. It’s something that I can take pride in, making sure that the bikes that I’m fixing up are something that a kid would enjoy receiving,” volunteer Cora Kerwin said.
Kerwin was just 8 years old when she found a special bike under her family’s Christmas tree.
